O.C.D Nebula or AutoFinesse Illusion?

I have seen some brilliant reviews for the O.C.D Nebula lately and at the price of £26 with the January offer would I be mad not too? I am after a show wax for my new Black BMW 440i that arrives in August!

Is it better than Illusion in people's opinion of is it just better for the money?

I can remember most saying Illusion was the best show wax for the money!

Illusion is very good and pretty wet. But I would also have a look at other options like Souveran, BF Black Ice, Obsessions Evolution and WG Fuzion.

Illusion gives dripping wet warm look

I've not been too impressed with Illusion and not tried Nebula yet (I have bought a pot). As others have said there are other show waxes worth looking at. WG Fuzion and Souveran to name two but also Victoria Concours looks great on black paint.

It's going to be a brand new BMW 440i Gonz.

Unwashed on collection ready for me to give a nice clean and wash the polish with I am hoping only Menzerna 3800 but I have 2500 to hand just in case.

My Mrs Cooper S is in pretty good condition too!

So the paint is good yes!

Thanks
Rob

If it's a show wax look you are after spend some time with your Menzerna 3800 and a nice soft pad, then it won't make hardly any difference what wax you use. TBH some waxes can mute the finish on perfect paint!! I have machined a solid black Mercedes to a high standard and dodos supernatural was one of the best on this and kept the clarity.

As gonzo has said, best to get the best possible finish you can from 3800, then I would go for Nebula not because of the price but solely for the finish it will leave your paint, easy on and off, just take a look at the pictures that peeps have put up then you will see. Prof
