Most good DIY shops or woodworking suppliers and decorators should have it. It’s excellent stuff. A small ball rubbed on the glass or chrome work polishes it a treat just be aware that particles will be shed from the ball but blowing them away should help any contamination.
Homebase do it, I couldn't be faffed to get it online.
As for cleaning the windscreen - I saw a video someone posted on here where they'd cleaned the screen first to get rid of the surface dirt, then went over the whole screen in circular movements with very little pressure (much like claying I guess), letting the wirewool do the work.
I've also done it on my glazed bathroom tiles to shift some limescale residue that just wouldn't budge.
Just get it from any hardware store, ie, Homebase etc. It'll be near the furniture polish/waxes etc. Wash you car with shampoo as normal, then soak the wire wool in the shampoo and wash the windscreen with it taking care not to go anywhere near the paintwork/trims etc.
Got some in Homebase for £2.79. Not tried it out yet though. But after the shuddering wiper blades this morning with H2Go applied, might strip it off again.
Fisrt place I tried. In my local one it just had fine, medium and coarse IIRC. I wasnt happy that the fine would be 0000 so didnt bother. I wanted a known 0000 grade.
