Car Covers

Just wondered with this cold weather whether anyone puts a cover over the windscreen to protect against snow / ice and if so, what they use. I am thinking about one but do not want to damage the paintwork etc. (Years ago I had one the "clipped" to the wheel arches and the clips scratched the paintwork on a windy night!

No, having a coupe means I can't shut the door on a cover over the windscreen and don't fancy tying something round mirrors etc, for the reason you gave...

Did have a laugh to myself though this afternoon, neighbour took the blanket off her windscreen and it was nice and clear from the snow and ice, she went inside - must have only been a couple of mins and we had a downpour of snow

Try these - have big elastic loops each end, not clips:
