Anyone used the Gtech MF4 drying towel?

Has anyone used the GT MF4 drying towel?
If so can I ask your thoughts on it, for what it is.

I have used the Megs Water Magnet for specific drying tasks for years and perfect for the job. Last two I bought were nothing like the quality they were, so won't be wasting my money on those anymore..

I do have other drying towels, so not asking what you use etc, just how the MF4 is if you don't mind.

i only have 2 drying towels, the PB one and this one,

It's not great when dragged across the paint as it can mark.

I have two of them and really like them.
The towels are really good when using with drying aid like AF finale or Nanolex final finish.
Allso I tried to use them with Optimum wax as drying aid and it worked really good.
Really good towels and I use them all the time...

Sorry for my bad english I'm from Finland

I like to use the Water magnet for the roof, pat it down and drag and never had that issue. One I have is 14yrs old too and that one knocks the new ones into a cocked hat!
If you have marking from the towel when dragging, I would definitely report this back to Gtechniq in a heart-beat, as their products are IMHO well above average.
You may have a duff one and get it replaced, or you might highlight a problem which they will be glad to hear of.
Feedback is a big deal to manufactures, how can they know of issues if they are not told?
I appreciate you highlighting it here

not noticed any marks with mine BUT that could be
a/ cant spot any new marks on the 14y/o paintwork's collection of yet to be addresses marks
b/ having a coat of UHD wax on thats hiding any new marks
c/ not putting me reading glasses on to check, ,,

have to agree on Gtechniq being "does exactly as is says on the label" on all there products i have used to date, being a "tight wallet"

forgot to say
i find it easier to use on the Sides of the car, being larger there is enough to hold it and drag it without the risk of dropping it/brushing the ground, while keeping it to the car,

It was some time ago when it first came out, i pinged them an email as the edge stitching was missing on small section but I never heard anything back.

Sorry should have said it marked on the black cars, micro marring mainly. The very fine kind you see in bright direct sunlight. Though this can happen with other towels if they are dry or I haven't put a couple of squirts of QD on the towel. Just seemed to happen every time with the MF4. Not a hater, as i'm a fan of a lot of their products.

Pinging an e-mail only probably wont to followed up. It's only right and problems should be reported back. Hardly any product does not have traceability these days, batch#, prod date, etc.etc. Its in the suppliers interest to deal with issues as it can hurt them, but some may not want to actively follow up and hop it goes away.
In this case it did.
These detailing products are inflated based on claims of quality and where they come from, so if they are not up to standard its necessary to follow through. We should get what we are being ripped off for.

I dug mine out and gave it another go at the weekend. It's very thin and you need to be gentle with it. I wouldn't recommend it for soft paint. It does a good job at drying and is best used when it's slightly damp. I think its about 500gsm. Gtechniq don't make these there bought from another company, not that it really matters unless you want it in a different colour.
