Polisher

My 10 year old trusty Silverline Silverstorm polisher is coming to the end of it's life. When spinning or moving by hand the spindle is clunky and loose.

Do I buy another machine polisher or get a DA?

Any recommendations?

I've recently bought a Dewalt Dwp849x after the Sim180 rotary I had started playing up , the Dewalt is in a different league , I wish I'd got one years ago . I've also just got a Shinemate Ep803 which is a great little machine for areas the full-size rotary can't get to easily . How about the Shinemate Ep801 from Cyc , it can be had for a good price especially when bought with pads and polish .

Give Cyc a call, I got mine on Friday and they had a couple left I'm sure . Used it today and it's a great machine , pretty smooth and a joy to use as it's nice and light . I was originally going to get the Flex mini rotary but when you factor in buying the backing plates , extension bars and pads etc it made better sense as it's only used occasionally , it would sit nicely alongside the larger Ep801 .

What's the difference between the Shinemate ep801 and ep803?

EP801 "normal" polisher
EP803 is compact, use with 1" to 3" pads.

The Ep801 is a great machine for the money, it's relatively light so with a smaller backing plate, pads and extention bars you can get in most places.
