Best torch/lamp

Good morning Detailers. I’m after a hand held torch so I can see for swirl marks etc while machine polishing but nothing that’s going to break the bank

I bought the Sealey one after seeing it reviewed on the Forensic Details YouTube channel. Very very good for £45

This arrived today. Works really well even on my white car, especially for the price

For a white car you are better to aim for one with 6500K, less is not as good.
There are a few popular ones that are very well priced, but check the K rating is enough.

Take a look at the Scangrip line up of torches. I was able to get hold of a couple to review for a DW video. They don't cost the earth either.

Scangrip Sunmatch 2 is fantastic product.

Two light levels & temperatures for swirl and RDS finding, magnetic base for sticking places, swivel head for directing light and it's mega robust. I accidently knocked mine out the garage loft hatch, where it fell 8+ft onto the concrete floor below - the only damage was superficial scuffs to a couple of rubber surfaces.
