Portable LED Work Lights

All, I was in Screwfix today and came across some small portable work lights (some rechargable), my question is they seemed to have different Lumin capacities, is there a certain criteria I should be looking for, or is it the higher the better?

The more lumens, the brighter the light.

All depends what you are using them for, if it's for flood lighting to illuminate the whole car and your work area then go as bright as poss. If it's for spot work when analysing the paint for defects then too bright is just going reflect of the paint and blind you.

1 Lumen = light of 1 candle
more lumens = brighter light
