Iím confused

Hi guys,

Me again asking for help.

Iíve used microfibres pad with car pro rapid compound then yellow Rupes pad with there yellow fine polish, itís still leaving some kind of haze/hologram - Iíve gone over it again the the yellow and still there.

Please see the video - https://streamable.com/ip3a1 there no swirls just what ever that is. Was thinking to put grechniq panel wipe to see if that works

Any ideas?

Thanks

I'd say the same until recently, for the first time ever I didnt get 100% results on my car on two panels with the yellow. I cant see the OPs video very clearly but it might be the same result as mine. When the weather cools I am going to hit them again with the white pads and KC antihologram polish.

To be said...I never use rupes polishes or compounds with the yellow pads.
Only use scholl, sonax and Koch Chemie...

sorry the video is really bad and hard to get what I'm seeing on the video, it's like a haze but not a hologram as a no rotary was used.

I've only got the compound the rupes machines pad came with tbh

thanks all, hopefully I can try to remove what ever it is

Edit - is it worth going over it with a green pad/green polish it comes with?

I've had it a couple of times with rupes yellow on yellow pads and it turned out it was too hot and I found I had used too much polish which then dried up in the heat before breaking down fully.

Using less polish on a cool surface and breaking it down fully took care of the haze.

This sounds exactly like the issue I have on my two panels. Not quite a hologram but definite haziness. If its cool tonight I will have another go with the Rupes white pad so will let you know if that solves it.
