Why not try.....

Rinse
Foam
Rinse
Shampoo through foam lance
one bucket wipedown
Rinse (with drying aid)
Dry

Takes about an hour with set up included, 1.5 to two hours if more thorough.

Interesting, the one bucket wipe down, i assume is like my initial spit balling of a bunch of think pile towels in a bucket?

Or just a bucket of suds?

Just a bucket of clean water and a wash mit.

With the shampoo foamed on the car you just need to gently agitate with a mitt and then rinse it off in the water bucket. I do 1 pannel and then rise.
