bmw 118i autoglym ultimate screen wash

anyone know if autoglym ultimate screen wash will be fine in a bmw 118i m sport or do i really need to use genuine bmw stuff?
only asking because it has fan jets and the rear washer jet is clogged up and needs changing, obviously the person who had it before me was using cheapo stuff and clogged it?
thanx in advance

Used at the correct dilution you should have no issues. I use it in my Skod Yeti with no issues over winter

I don't think it's using cheap stuff that clogs it, I think it's mixing different brands. But yeh the autoglym stuff should be fine, I'm using it in my focus and it's excellent.

I’ve been using it for years and had no issues at all. I won’t use anything else. Autoglym looks expensive compared to other additives, but it’s highly diluteable and works out cost effective.

If the car is in warranty stick with the BMW stuff.

If it's out of warranty it's your prerogative.

I've seen lots of issues with washer jets getting clogged up and BMW attempting to shift the blame.

(1 series owner - E82 and F21 LCI2)

I had a 1 series few years back, used Holts, Prestone and another screen wash and had no issues at all - so I would say you'll be fine with AG stuff
