I have found bug off to be a great product, it really shifts more than Auto foam (for bugs). Spray on, leave to dwell & rinse off. For me its been that easy with some really dried on bugs. I use auto foam after and with these two the car has a great prewash to start with.

The reviews about that Koch chemie green star are getting more and more up everyones street, foaming in a pump sprayer, great dilutions ratio's, does a great job of cleaning a good amount of the grime off before you actually touch the car!

I would definitely look at this over most other pre washes, just look at wanner69's review and the gentleman with the Volvo.... Outstanding results!

UNTRUE

It will work better on a protected vehicle just like snow foam works better on a protected vehicle,

But saying it wont work is a lie and misleading people

I've got a 5ltr and use it every time before I 'prewash' in the summer.

By the time I've sprayed that, dwelled and agitated, then a spray of BHAF and finally a PW off there's no bugs left!

Lol ironically I had 2 huge splats of bird sh*t on my bonnet today!!! Mines also on my drive in prime position for those horrid splats! Luckily a quick use of AG insect remover did the trick

I’ve tried it on both protected and unprotected and there was no difference unfortunately.. so Imo its a load of hype, and I have found other autoglanz products that I have used to be the same.. I’ll stick to the likes of bilt hamber, Koch chemie, autoglym etc who are established market leaders

Disagree with this but we are all entitled to our opinions. I'd suggest user error is you're issue as it shifts bug splatter and bird crap effortlessly in my extensive experience of it.

Plenty of photo and video evidence in circulation showing it works extremely well also.

Thanks to everyone for their opinions so far. It seems as is quite often the case there is a divide between those who like a certain product and those who don't.
I think I'll give bug off a miss but might try the autoglym offering. I have a Halfords trade card so will get it a little cheaper anyway.
