Says something when there is only 6 Hyundai Stellars left on the road. Mind you, 99% of them were taxis so would have had died years ago with spaceship miles.

My Accord Type R has become a pretty rare beast now too, latest figures were 549 on the road and 372 SORN.

I wonder as well how many listed are just gathering dust or garage queens that would be interesting.

Increasingly so, without a doubt. For example, until recently, you could pick up an ATR for sub £1500, £2500 for good one, £3500 for a really good one.

An "average" condition one, all be it with 88k on the clock, has recently sold at a CCA auction for £6,600, so people are startiing to think of potential future values and locking them away.

The japanese sports car collector market has gone mad in recent years, Supras, Skylines, even MR2s are going for very strong money. Recent glowing motoring press reviews of the ATR and claiming it to be a future classic has certainly helped boost what has been up until now a very cheap car for what it is.

Would be more interesting to see it as a percentage of vehicles registered in total. Quite a few on that list weren't ever very popular and were always pretty crap so no surprise there aren't many of some of them left.

I'll look through the rest of the slides later.

Didn't look as if many were even worth saving.
