You are quite right it does leave protection, but not for long compared to a good wax

Is that not the process - polish, glaze/sealant, wax?
Yep polish,glaze, sealant then wax
You don't need sealant and wax but you can wax ontop of sealant if you want but you can't put sealant over a wax.

So I have found.

I might skip the AG EGP step then. Thanks for the advice.

Seems to be a lot of confusion with layering of products. You can layer multiple products on top of each other, but will they bond correctly? You can layer wax on top of wax. Doesn't need to be sealant then wax.

Typically known, in liquid form its suggested it's a sealant. In paste form it's known as a wax. But you can get liquid waxes, and paste sealants. Neither is right or wrong. It comes down to the individual product

Collinite 476 be it wax or sealant, or hybrid of both as fair as I was aware, it's solvent heavy. From my experience it doesn't work well on top of other products. It can remove the fillers from previous glazes and AIO products and actually worsen the finish and gloss of the paint achieved from polishing. Same goes for applying it over a sealant. It may not bond correctly so not last as long as applied over a bare clean base. Also potentially remove some of the sealant.
