Good value pads for removing swirls on white bmw
On the verge of buying a das 6 to use on my 2012 bmw 120d in alpine white. Paint isn't it bad condition it's just swirly in places. The das 6 doesn't come with any pads and as there's hundreds available I wanted to know if anyone can recommend any decent value ones?
Cheers |

I went for the Lake Country Hydro-tech pads with my Das 6 pro. Worked well on the Audi & BMw paint I’ve tried so far

I got 2 of each in 6 inch and 3-4 inch can’t remember now. Worked well with the Menzerna 2500 and 3800.
The cutting pad with 2500 got out the bad scratches but used the polishing and finishing pads for most of the work. |

![]() ![]() Lake country pads with Meguiars ultimate polish and wax after my first use of a DA polisher. Depending on your amount of swirling you could use a slight cut pad with a compound or a polish. Or a non cut pad with a polish and let the abrasive in the polish do the work. Yeah I've got the code however it can only be used on the individual das 6. Not any of the kits. So my next question is, do I buy the meguiars kit for 145 which includes 1 hex orange 1 hex red ultra cut compound and ultra finishing polish. Or buy separately the das6 and 3 chemical guys hex pads along with meguiars ultimate compound?
