Nilfisk P150. 2 goes stuck in gun handle

Tried everything to free it went as far as stripping the gun down and still wasn't able to release the hose from the gun?

Anyone else have the same problem?

Yea I tried to remove mine a few weeks ago to check the connection to see if I could somehow go down the suttner gun route but couldnt get it disconnected - was off and not under pressure too.

Maybe thats the problem, I disconnect mine every time I use it, so possibly just seized up and a bit of lubrication left to work its way in overnight may sort it.

Good luck with the suttner gun route i've failed miserably so far.

I've given up on the gun route - would need a full hose change etc which just cant be justified!

I could justify it but the money on top of the £290 i've spent already would put me in the Kranzle range, doubt the Mrs would though

I have thought of sending Nilfisk UK our complaints/suggestions re the short gun options, superflex hose with the banjo connections etc, its all within there scope as they're available on there high end machines and would help keep custom before the next step to Kranzle, doubt they would take it on board though.

Kranzle here I come, in 2-3 years that is

I just had the opposite problem on mine. The note wouldn’t stay in the gun. The spring inside the gin just needed cleaning up a bit and now all sorted.

If you’ve taken the gun apart you should be able to release the hose from the gun I would have thought

Hi Pete

I emailed Mosmatic yesterday as below

Hi, is there an adaptor to connect a Nilfisk superflex hose to gun connection to one of your Mosmatic guns/triggers?

Response

I would think we can sort something for you.
Can you email me an image of the gun connection type that you are using now.

My Response with Pics of course

Hi Richard

Thanks for responding, see attached jpgs as follows

Nilfisk superflex hoses connection
Nilfisk gun
Mosmatic gun

I would like to be able to attach the superflex hose to a mosmatic gun with a swivel, it doesn't have to be that particular mosmatic gun, just similar with a quick release with ability to attach various lances with quick fit, short, long, cranked etc.

The problem is the superflex hose connection, theres various adaptors for Kranzle, Karcher etc, but none that can be found for Nilfisk and there are numerous people on detailing world website who are looking to replace the standard Nilfisk guns to short guns with the ability to switch and change lances.

If you have got something or can come up with something theres a market for them, not massive but appreciative.

I'll post your response on the website at least Mosmatic have made an effort every other supplier is either no response or a flat no.

Mosmatic Response

Unfortunately this is not possible with a domestic Alto hose.

There isn't a manufacturer that makes a connector to convert this type of end.
Your only option would be to change the hose.

Sorry for the bad news.

Regards
Richard

So no result (as suspected) its change the hose or nothing but at least Mosmatic put some effort in to looking at the issue for me that deserves

I'll give Nilfisk a go next week.
