My only gripe is the prep work with the paint or maybe it's all of you lots fault haha. Over the last year since being on here I've become very picky with cleaning our cars and the job the VW valeters have done on this isn't great. There's faint swirls already and there's patches where polish hasn't been worked properly and buffed off as there's dry residue and like a geeesy feeling to parts of the paint. At least it'll give me plenty to do to get it up to the standard I feel it should be at.

Apologies if the photo is large, I've changed from photobucket so need to suss out how to use imgur properly.
I do like the look of these - certainly much better looking than the older ones.

I think the greasy feeling to the paint is probably caused by that silicon spray they use all over the car to make it look really shiny.

Ah right, could well be then. I gave it a quick snow foam and rinse the other day just to keep it looking tidy after bringing it home in the rain.
Hopefully over the weekend I can give it a proper wash and get some products on it.

Thanks for all the comments guys. I am over the moon with it and the DSG box makes it so easy to drive..proper lazy haha.

Only problem is, I dont get much of a chance to drive it as the other half takes it to work but at least I get to wash it haha

So glad you went for the R-Line, the front end really needs that grill...it looks odd otherwise. White is easily the best colour for these as well it seems.
