Auto finesse Desire

Hy all

I thought I would make a fun video over the weekend about AF Desire wax. There is not a lot of info or videos about it so I thought I would share a bit.

Anyways...for those who have been living under a rock and have never heard of it...Auto finesse Desire is their flagship wax containing 54% T1 Grade Brazilian Carnauba wax by volume, with the remaining being made up by all natural Beeswax and oils. It smells of very nice of wild berry. Its ultra high wax solids content gives you durability up to 6 months. The wax spreads very far and is easy to remove. It requires a few minutes to cure but you can easily remove it straight after application. Allow 3h to cure before you apply your second coat.

For more information on Desire check out the link below: https://shop.autofinesse.co.uk/waxes...ts/desire-150G

Thanks for watching.

Thank you for posting the video. I have not used Desire but my favourite wax of any tried is Illusion, can only imagine Desire is just as good. Neither wax seems to get mentioned much these days, I wonder why.

Good video that.

I’m quite a fan of some of their waxes, think I have 3 at the moment, and use Fussion as my winter wax. I’ve put it as a test panel on my van to see how it holds out to heavy handed washing and road grime and it’s doing well so far too.

Not got Desire though, think I may need to invest in some, but the price puts it up against a lot of competitors doesn’t it??

Was all the rage when it first came out. It's still one of those waxes that I want to try even though I probably have others that are better.

Thank you for some good feedback.

@Enumero
I feel like its a wax that is overpriced for what it is but its still a brilliant and easy to use wax. Usage is minimal so the 200g pot will last you a while. It will not disappoint. Price is really what lets it down as other waxes can do the same for a lot less money yet on the other side there are more expensive waxes that probably do less. I see it as a collectors item I guess if you really like waxes without added ceramics like today's blends. Id also love to tell you its durability is legit but I cant as Ive not tested it. I don't believe it will last 6 months but if Ill get 2-3 ill be happy with it.

@stonejedi
At least you'll wipe some dust off of it

@shine247
I own Temptation and Desire. I believe Illusion is not far off. It may even create more shine as its a show wax.
I believe price has something to do with AF top waxes not being mentioned much + they aren't the new kids on the block anymore.
Boutique waxes from ODK, Wax planet and others these days offer similar performance for far less money so they get more hype so people tend to reach for them more.
