My 7l Raceglaze DI filter arrived this week. I'm blown away by the results. my water was 214 ppm and 0 after the filter. I've tried leaving it to dry in the sun, the trees are kicking out a lot of pollen at the moment and left pools of dust where the pollen settled on the water droplets. Using a Metro force blaster to clear the water was better it left no water marks just spotlessly clean paint. I wish I'd bought one years ago.

Other question: Did you properly wash the towel in between? As in wash liquids etc for microfibre/sport textile, and no softeners etc? Softeners kill microfibers.

SO with a DI vessel giving 0ppm I shouldn't need to dry the car after rinsing, on my black car that would be a dream.

If I then do get water marks whats the best product to use to address these ?

No need to dry it at all,I’ve got a Rangerover sport in black & the final rinse through the di vessel & just leave it.

Not tried it personally but I have read good things about Koch Chemie FSE it has limescale removers in it which is marks with ease.

Don't count on it. I have a raceglaze 7L item for a few years. If you sheet dry it with open hose, you have a better chance of zero spots over if you just rinse it and leave lots of residual water to evaporate.

You can still get some( albeit reduced) spotting even with very low Ppm.

I use DI throughout wash cycle, and have ceramic coating, but will still not chance it to just dry on its own.
