So, what's the next step?

So I had a go at polishing my mk2 Leon bonnet, and while it looks nice and shiny and a lot of scratches have gone I can still see quite a few big scratches,

I used a hex logic white pad with scholl s20 black, gave certain places 2 or 3 passes but you can still see these scratches, now I have to remember the car is nearly 7 years old now so some won't come out but if I could make some more improvement I would be happy. Maybe the Zym HD cleanse will fill them?

So what's the next step? Go down to say an orange pad with s20 black or keep making passes with the white pad?

Am I right in thinking the hex green is more abrasive than the white pad? As I have these too.

Sorry for the war and peace lol

Try the hexlogic green firts, if that does not work then go with orange pad. Sometimes you need yo learn to let go, some scratches are too deep and it is not safe or worth it to try and remove them. Just learn to live with them, esp on a dd or older cars.
