Got a Argos challenger DA a few years ago and been working well untill today. Had an intermittent fault cutting out but wiggling the wire seemed to make it work.

Finished the car and thought it mite have come loose inside so took the back off. All the wires seemed ok and it still worked giving them a wiggle. Cldnt see no loose connections etc. Then it stopped working full stop :-/ checked fuse in plug and all ok.

Can post out if some one fancies a challenge to fix it please. It doesn't owe me anything so if it gets lost in the post or can't be fixed then no prob. Will package and PayPal postage :) plus a pint - London prices :)

Many thanks

The machine arrived this morning.
As expected, a break in the cable.
It was on the neutral side as it enters the machine.

All up and running again :)
Have it a little service too - checked brushes, greased the hearing.

Agree with the above. Very kind gesture to spend the time fixing it.

I've also benefitted from Rich's generosity.

He invited me to his place and took some time out of his busy schedule to show me the basics of using a DA when I first got into detailing and purchased my first machine.
