As part of the deal all dents and scuffs are being repaired by dealer. Detailer will be buffing out light marks & scuffs. Full decon and detail I will do myself at a later date.
Not being funny, but if it was me, I would be haggling them down because of it and getting the work done myself.
Our expectations compared to a dealership that knows they've already sold a car and just needs to get Del Boy to fix the paint as cheaply as possible (95% of the time) are very different things.
Why let them do the polishing then if your not happy with the finish which you probably will be you'll have to take it to a professional Detailer for him to rectify their work and remove more clear/paint.
I can only comment on some bonnet chips that a dealer repaired and polished on a car I had...... one wash with the pressure washer and I knew exactly where they had been :lol: out with the paint and :buffer:
