Just thought I'd show you lot what I like to do in my spare time. This is a car that I've looked after since it was new in May 2012. It now has 19k on it and it still looks tidy as hell because of....me.
It was clayed and protected before winter (October-ish) and it now NEEDED doing haha. So much tar and iron fallout was apparent, shows up so much on silver.
List of products used:
Autosmart Durafoam (Rubbish, do not buy, get Magifoam)
Autosmart Smart Wheels (Very good!)
AMBubbles shampoo
Monza microfibre sponge
Auto Finesse ObliTARate (Tar remover)
Auto Finesse Iron Out (Fallout remover)
Bilt Hamber Soft Clay
AMGlaze applied via rotary and a soft pad
Two layers of FK1000P sealant (This will last six months!)
Auto Finesse Satin Tyre Gel (Impressive stuff)
Anyway, pictures.
Iron fallout from the doors, this pretty much the same story on the bootlid too.
After being clayed and fully decontaminated and dried:
The owner Ed buffing off the glaze:
Roof glazed:
Bonnet in the sun:
Lovely headlights:
Epic reflection!
Sealed and finished:
I enjoyed this one. Lovely little cars!
