Final buffing.

Imagine I have washed, clayed, polished and have done a final wax on the car. Now I take my very soft microfibre polishing cloth to shine it up as it where.

Is there a recommended final DA pad to do this? Something to really bring out that final buff?

I always find with the rest of the swirl removal and polishing that slower is better but is that the same with this final buff?

My method would be to go at medium/slow speed and very lightly.

So suggestions and recommendations please.

Can't see a need for anything else once the wax is buffed off tbh..

Maybe a sealant over the wax. To provide more protection.Or something that can add more shine effect. But here all depends on the LSP that`s on the car.

Yep, some people will apply sealant to the wax, i personally think its pointless, no need for both. But yes buff off, job done

I go around an hour after final buff with micro fibre cloth with a spritz of QD on the cloth not the panel and gently wipe down. Seems to give that extra few % of gloss.

Same, just incase I missed any last little bits of wax in panel gaps etc. Always give it a quick inspection and a light spritz of QD on a cloth
