Hoselock Ultimate Hose

Hi

Has anyone got/used the hoselock ultimate hose, is it as god as the adverts says ie no kink, no twist, lightweight etc? As I suspect my current ancient garden hose is the cause of my intermittent pressure problems on my pressure washer.

Thanks

Bruce

Hi, yes I’ve got the Ultimate hose (yellow one). Works very well, I’ve not had any kinks from it, also I’m getting more water / pressure through it than my ancient hozelock pipe it replaced last year.

Hope it helps

Any ideas on the best place to buy from Amazon and Argos seem to be the best so far at £32.99 for the 30m hose

Have you considered the Hoselock Tricoflex hoses?

Amazon seems the best place to get them at a reasonable price.

I picked mine up from Wickes - at the time they were a couple of ££ cheaper, but local store had one in, so no postage and could get there and then.

Obviously try all DIY stores, Argos, Amazon and I think I found them for sale a garden centres on line very competitive priced, but none local to me...

The Fitt NTS hoses are very good for not kinking.

https://www.screwfix.com/p/fitt-15m-...ech-hose/4592j

Although check out Aldi/Lidl because they occasionally sell the same thing made for them by the same manufacturer. I got one last year and apart from the colour it's identical the one above.

EDIT: I just found this - https://www.aldi.co.uk/gardenline-ga...95742202810200 , it states that it's an NTS hose so may be worth popping in to check it's made by Fitt.

Actually just checked myself and it is. Decent 20m hose for just £9.99, result

Thanks Neil, I'll get one of these at a £10.00 a lot better the the £33.00 Hoselock and it looks a similar construction.

Are any of these anti kink hoses available on a reel - my old Hoselock has seen better days and I am looking to upgrade?

I swapped my old Hoselock item out for a Claber SilverElegant hose last year - no problems at all using the old Hoselock reel - I would add that the Hoselock connectors are better than the Claber versions, and if i was buying again I'd stump up another £5-10 for the SilverGreen as I find the silver Elegant kinks almost as badly as the 12 year old Hoselock did

Bugger No stock at our local Aldi, looks like the Hoselock ultimate, I can get that at on the way home from work.
