I have a few of these vacuums and they are just as powerful as the corded version. They come with 2 batteries which will last 30 minutes each from a full charge.

I managed to pick a few up from eBay on auction last year for a good price.

Yep I had a Dyson DC31 for about 6 years or so.

Saw the Dyson V6 on sale for £179 in Currys 6 months ago and bought one of them.
Its great, we have the long attachment with the floor brush and we use it throughout the house too.

The old Dyson is sat on a shelf in the garage for dirty work

The new V10 looks funky .. it can also serve as a smaller mobile unit. But as all things Dyson it's overpriced.

I have a Dyson V6 car and boat. Comes with a load of car-specific attachments.

I've only briefly used it once though, so can't report much on it. I mainly used it to vacuum the boot out.
