We've got a 27 kh Black and Decker Dust Buster - about £50 or so on Amazon. Charges up from the mains. Unlike many dedicated car vacs, it's pretty powerful and has a boost mode and an extendable nozzle to get into awkward gaps. The boost mode is good for really difficult bits.

Very useful in the house as well. No additional tools though.

I bought a cheap one (unbranded) and you'd get better suction from an asthmatic mouse using a straw.

Gtech

I would love this combo as I to live in a flat

tech Multi MK2 Handheld Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

Gtech Multi Car Accessory Kit

By all accounts they are very good, much better than the dyson ones.

Or the Shark

Not cheap and they could be used to clean your flat aswell meaning you could sell the one you have in your house and get one for both tasks, something im contemplating

Cordless one's are useless! The only half decent ones are the dyson and you will pay up for them. I have one for my work truck and it ok but nothing to shout about. Battery only lasts 20 minutes or so.
Dont even bother about the like of black and decker powered from a cigarette lighter.

If you have no choice but to use cordless it would have to be a Dyson or Gtech. I've got the Gtech, but I still don't use it in my car as I prefer corded.

Henry do a good cordless vacuum.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Henry-HVB...IAAOSwoYdaoSPB

See review:

I have a few of these vacuums and they are just as powerful as the corded version. They come with 2 batteries which will last 30 minutes each from a full charge.

I managed to pick a few up from eBay on auction last year for a good price.
