Thanks guys. I am looking at using the PF I think, although the Scholl S20 Black would probably be very good too.

I am going to get, I think some CG Hexlogic Quantam pads - I am looking at an Orange and a White one for medium cut, and something lighter for finishing. Does that seem good choice, on a DAS-6 PRO machine with Sonax PF?

The paintwork is generally pretty good and I really just want to maintain it. My wife has a 2013 Toyota Rav4 which is much more swirly, so that will need more work, but hides the marring better!

Good choice! Mine is on the way. Looking forward to giving them a go along with the Auto Allure coating I've ordered. Got two soft Lexus' to do...

Hi Brian. Hope you don't mind me jumping in here.

I'm thinking about buying the same polisher, complete beginner at it. Normally spend hours hand polishing and fancy making life easier.

What did you get in the end? I'm looking to get a complete set. Looking at all the options, I'm finding it confusing on what pads and polish is needed?

We have a deep blue Mazda 3 and a black Toyota Yaris.

Not bought anything as yet - service due (£745) in the next few weeks so that's scuppered a few plans...
