Autoglym Our quest for perfection began with eight pioneering car care treatments that breathed new life into tired bodywork and wheels. From our original premises in Welwyn Garden City, Autoglym quickly became a trusted name, finding a home on shelves across the nation’s car dealerships and garages.

Autoglym products

Having used Autoglym products almost exclusively for the past 15 years, just wondering how good they actually are?? I haven't really tried anything else!

Good and bad.

SRP is still a decent product but the one with the black label is pants!
Bumper car gel is good if used properly.
I really like their custom wheel cleaner but it works out expensive against something like Billberry.
The Engine degreaser is superb.

I would just look to upgrade your products when their running low.

In short, good. A lot of the dislike for AG on here is a lot of snobbery and assumptions imho. Taking all their products as a whole I would say they are probably *the* best value for money. I am sure all their products could be beaten if you are prepared to search the globe and spend much much more, but that not what AG is about.

To name and rate some of their products I have used.

SRP - Excellent
Car Glass Polish - Excellent
Vinyl and Rubber care - Excellent for interior dash.
Hi-tech Wheel brush - Good/Excellent
Engine and machine cleaner - Good
EGP - Good
Custom wheel cleaner - Good
Silicone free spray - Good
Fast Glass - Good
Glass Spray - Good
Screenwash - Good
Interior Shampoo - Good
Intensive Tar Remover - Good (and safe)
Bumper care - Good, but other more durable alternatives are appearing
Active Insect Remover - Average
BSC - Average (imho - some would say excellent), it really could do with foaming up just a slight bit more to make cleaning enjoyable.
Clean Wheels - Average - isn't that powerful, doesen't dwell for long enough, but back in the day it was probably pretty good.
Paint renovator - Poor/Average - a bit dated now imho.

SRP is very good even in my limited experience. Its so much fun to use as its so easy and for the price of it the results it delivers are very impressive

You can't go wrong with the AG products, and many are so widely available, yes sometimes you can get 'better' but be prepared to pay a premium for little gain.
