Shine mate pads

Hi,

I am a noob so please be gentle

I get confused over what colour pad does what. Same colours from different manufacturers can mean a totally different cut level.

Can someone please explain what the Shine mate colours represent as I do see some descriptions that are too close to tell apart. I did buy some shine mate pads with a 3 inch BP to fit my Meg DA but I have been using feel to determine what goes with what.

Sorry for the noob question but I need more pads and need to be sure what I need.

Many thanks,

have a look here, depending on the type of pads you have they should list them there.

What is the difference between the white finishing pads and the red finishing pads? Thanks for the link.

The red is a little bit softer. White we'd call a glazing pad really, but there isn't a huge step between them.
