It seems a very puzzling marketing decision to take but one which I am sure they will come to regret.

I'm not sure they realise this but this forum (DW) I imagine is the UK's principal gathering of their product users whether professional or enthusiast. And as a group we are now very unlikely to purchase, use or recommend their product in what is a pretty niche (at the moment) market. So its a true case of shooting yourself squarely in the foot.

I am not one to ever wish anyone ill in business but I am stumped by their decision to behave like this...

Couldn't agree more with that comment

having met PJ (Dodo Juice at the weekend), this was his reply to Swissvax's latest decision!

Tim - bit late to the party on all this as I've been away a lot recently, but this seems like a crazy decision IMHO.

Seems like I'm not the only one to be completely put off the Z and SV products by the actions of the respective companies, so will simply put my hard earned £ elsewhere...

I guess this is where excellent customer service and quality advice prove more valuable than the image of a single brand, and mean loyalty to resellers rather than manufacturers

I'm going to be careful what I say partly as it's not my place as a moderator to comment on a section sponsor and also because my company does business with Andy and the guys at Swissvax and I have to respect the latter.

However I do feel for you Tim and for other Swissvax authorised/affiliated people be they detailers, retailers or both. Strange situation and I guess we can only hope for a sensible reason behind it as I'm pretty sure Z's sales were hit even just a bit following the blow up on here a while back

I used to use the other high end products from their big rival. When they got too big for their boots I went on to swissvax. I am disgusted with what they have done, it is nothing more than greed. They could have really taken on Z***L head on with the custom they lost last year, but now Dodo Juice will reap the benefit. Dodo juice is my next step.
