Yeah certainly knew about it on impact, but yeah very lucky tbh. I haven't tried to clean it yet so not sure, putting some advertising stickers on the car soon for a mates company so I think it will cover it over anyway

Yeah looks a nail but I think it was rapid with possibly a Cosworth lump in it.

That impact sounded a lot harder in the video than it looks on the car! (If that makes sense)

I'd be investigating things like geometry after that. Just me though...

The car, looks great and a few battle scars are what it's all about, well maybe not from other people but when you hit a cone or a couple of tyres etc

I've come to terms that if it happens to me, I'm not bothered

Yeah you are right, I have to say that the rear beam wasn't perfect and sits to the left more than the right anyway, can pick them up for cheap these days so in the long run I will look to have it changed but the car seems to drive true for now.

Yeah the odd damage tells a story

I had the same thing with my go pro when I did a track day at spa, nothing but over exposed footage! I was gutted when I got home to find I'd gone all that way and not managed to get any decent video.

To sort it you need to play with the spot meter settings, allows you to set where the exposure focuses on. Hope that helps. Lovely Clio btw!

This is a lovely little build fair play, looks a cracking little car and I bet is a lot of fun. Big shame about the damage from Combe but doesnt look too bad and sure you'll sort it soon enough.
To echo what Dan says about the go pro. Change the spot meter setting so its outward focussed, that way it looks for the outside light rather than focus on the inside and you shouldn't have any problems then. I had the same issue initially in the rally car.
