Looks great! I'll always have a soft spot for Audi even though I swapped over to beemers. Owned quite a few in my time, you've done a nice job.

Very nice, I have the same engine and transmission in my Mk1 TT with a blue flame Y-link. They sound good don't they? I actually really do like what you've done here. Looks very well executed.

I would be interested to hear what yours sounds like, I have a few friends with R32s and they all sound so different despite being the same engine.

The reason the r32 sounds different is apparently the position of the tailpipes on the back box. The r32 pipes exit opposite where they enter, where as the a3 pipes are off to one side. Always fancied mine louder but never got around to changing the exhaust.

Excellent transformation. The front grill makes such a difference. Small changes like that and the front and rear spoilers make such a huge difference. Nice job.

My last car was an 04 plate one of these in crystal silver. I do miss the sound, performance and comfort but I have to admit I don't miss the bills!!! I was also one of the unlucky ones to have to deal with the stretched cam chains/cam chain tensioner issue. Then it looked like the DSG was in the early stages of causing problems so I sold it shar****. Perhaps mine was a lemon and I was just really unlucky but I've been put off performance Audi's ever since. Still have a hankering for an RS3 though!

I am currently in the market for a new daily run around and I keep thinking about this car and just how kinda cool it is.

You are responsible for my current hankering for an 8P A3 (albeit in the 2.0 TDI flavour!).
