screen still smear and waxy after Auto Glyn glass polish

I cleaned my car yesterday.

I used Auto Glyn body work conditioner and then dried off with my microfiber. I then used Auto Glyn car glass polish by applying-leaving ten minutes and then wiping clear with microfiber. I did this three times
But when the sun shines I can still see spotty waxy marks and a smear marks. Any ideas what I did wrong or what I should do?

No idea but would suggest getting it off and starting again. I was getting fed up of judder on my drivers side the other week and tried Windolene yes the pink stuff your granny used to use no more judder and I've never had the screen as clear in sun rain or at night.

I usually use the like of a shower cleaner first to remove water spots then a glass cleaner then finish with the the glass polish find that works a treat. Also usually a clay bar once in a while helps on the exterior glass.

I always found using ipa/glass cleaner after glass polish helps, especially used with a dedicated glass cloth

I've used the AG Glass polish before, not left it on for 10 mins though, wiped on half of windscreen, walked round and did the other side, then back to 1st half and cleaned off etc. As soon as it hazes / drys, I clean it off.

I have found that the AG glass polish is more effective when new / virtually new ?

EDIT: just had a thought - you did clean both inside and outside of windscreen ?

Might be the inside marks you're seeing if it was particularly dirty / greasy ?

Try giving it another go, but put on / wipe off rather than leaving it..,

does the waffle weave leave glass clear like the smooth MF.... I hate normal MF leaving tiny fibres all over glass that is terrible in direct sunlight.
