Striped mats?

I know it's a daft question, but .... how do you get stripes in the floor mats?

My Dyson doesn't do it so I'm guessing it's a wet vac thing?

I think some use a credit card [or similar], brushed in alternate directions. (Waits to be shot down )

Just back and forth its only laying pile down one way to the other.

As such i suppose it depends on pile depth... i do stand to be corrected mind...

Of the many useful tips on here, this is one I don't understand - why does everyone like stripy mats? :/

A nail brush works wonders.
A little mist of water or febreeze can help too.
