Personally i would rather see nice paper floor mats in a freshly cleaned customers car rather than stripes.
Never have seen the point of them as you spend sooooooo long doing it to be wrecked at the first footfall on it

Agreed. I think it is completely nuts. Each to their own though.

Isn't that just a waste of paper? No body would drive with the paper mats in place, they be tossed as soon as the customer receives the car back.

I wonder if people who like stripes on their mats Hoover their carpets so they have stripes in them too?

Its just part of that giving that bit extra like plastic seat covers and apology cards for moving seats and mirrors while cleaning ( yup how many people use them cards ?????????? But its that nice little personal touch that makes the customer think " hey he cares ")

I think that's what is all about. It shows the amount of effort you put in. It's the finer things that will make you stand out from the rest.

Reminds me of a Manchester hotel I stayed in for a night this summer. It was a scorching day, checked in and went to my room to find the air con on and the room was nice and chilled, they also had relaxing music playing on the radio for when I walked in. These things don't really make the hotel worth more but it makes it stand out over and above other places I've stayed because of these small details.
