Moving from Photobucket to Flickr

Due to the unannounced policy change from Photobucket I (like many others) have had to abandon my account there, and all of my post pictures have gone. I have now migrated to Flickr and hope to be able to restore this thread with my pictures. I will be able to make future updates using the Flickr pictures, but until I figure out how to bulk upload images etc with Flickr I have made a folder of the pictures from this thread dating back the beginning of the project. It can be found here:

Great tip, thanks. I am now restoring all the pictures to this thread. It will only take a couple of hours so no big deal really. Postimage is excellent, just hope it does not go the way Photobucket did!

All pictures in entire thread updated. Was not too arduous really.
Unfortunately I have very little new to update as my attention has been focused on other jobs and projects, also the kids summer holidays etc. Hopefully I will get a chance to continue this in a few weeks and will update then.
I think I took some pics of the last bit of work I did, so will try to find them and post those.

The last jobs I did to the car before getting distracted were to fit a remote central locking kit to the car to operate the front doors and tailgate locks from a keyfob. I bought a cheap kit from eBay but found it to be of excellent quality for the price. I spliced the control unit from it in to the existing loom and swapped the switch mechanism from the drivers door with a spare passenger door actuator and now have full remote operated door locking / unlocking!
Next I refurbished a pair of electric window motors for the driver and passenger doors, then selected the best pair of electric window regulators from my spares. Cleaned everything up and installed and tested both.
Finally, with that done I injected around 3 litres of waxoyl inside the doors and in the cavity's in the rear of the car and anywhere else I had not previously attended to.
Oh, I also did my best to fix the cracks in the dashboard and sprayed it with plastidip. It turned out very nice but the cracks are still slightly visible.

Ha ha, thanks! I guess it looks good really, it's just too easy for me and my OCD to focus on the imperfections that probably nobody else would notice!
