Very nice indeed - and very impressed with the paint work you've had done and how well they've done / matched it

My painter sent me photo from when he started rubbing the old door down, it was like ageing a tree, count the rings!

And a couple of the car taken at the BMW Festival at Gaydon yesterday, I'm very pleased so far..

Thanks for looking folks...

Got an early birthday present from my wife, a re-trimmed steering wheel from Jack at Royal Steering Wheels. Slightly thicker than the original and with perforated handgrips, not OEM I know but to me OEM+. It feels really nice in the hands and has lifted the interior slightly.

More soon folks...

Since I’ve had the car I’ve been searching for a set of rubber winter mats, these are hens-teeth and NLA in RHD sadly. However a member on bmw5.co.uk bought a car with a full set in the boot , didn’t want them and gave me first dibs, a deal was struck and they were delivered this morning. A quick scrub with APC and they are in and I’m happy. The drivers mat is a little worn and I need to find some rubber sheet to glue under it but the others are as new.

I’m sure they are not to everyone’s taste but they’ll just what I wanted for winter.

mats

I have fitted rubber mats in my Jag all year round, it saves the OEM mats when it is time to sell and also look nice

A good choice. and a great car coming from an ex E46 M3 and E63 M6 owner

Why did they put weight in your car to setup your tracking and geometry?? That's a first for me & completely unnecessary.

That's pretty amazing colour match, a Ford dealer painted my wing, first time I rejected it, second time ok, but you lot on here would have rejected that to, in the end I had painted locally, its pretty good now, I think it must be a colour hard to match, midnight sky on a Ford.

The Hunter machine required weight to settle the ride hight, it plugs into the cars OBD port and told them when it was happy.....
