Recently the Ibiza has needed a new ARB (turned out it had the old style with plastic stops that had failed):

Whilst it was having that I thought it rude not to update the polybushes:

Over the last 12months I've had an N75 die on me:

I've blown a IC hose:

Plus the obligatory Coolant Temp Sensor replacement.

I've removed the old faded camo style roof vinyl:

And gone to plain gloss black:

It's had a new HU and aerial:

New Brembo brake consumables all round, along with fresh fluid:

And finally got round to putting these on at the same time:

Currently my front Alpine Type-S components have started to die, so will be installing these in their place soon:

After that, wheel refurb time

But for now, just keeping on top of the maintenance.

So 8 years of my larger than average frame have not been kind to the drivers seat, leaving the outer bolster and base foam worse for wear. I picked up a nice condition replacement today, will aim to get this in once my my new spline socket set arrives (never lend tools, never get them back).

Yeah, once setup right they drive nice and this has bags of power so keeps up with most things out there if it needs to.

Car got a good clean at the weekend.

My OZ Racing's are looking a little tired and road-worn these days, so I've taken them off in preparation to have them refurbished.

And for now I'm rolling on some RS 17x8j rims I had in storage.

Got some other bits on order to continue the freshen up, hoping to have the new speakers and drivers seat in soon. The biggest obstacle I appear to have right now is the terrible state of the road causing me to keep getting my alignment checked etc.

Lovely jubbly, nice work and car, I had a 05 Ibiza, sadly it didn't like wet weather, any sign of standing water on the road it use to break down, no error recordings read, it was finally diagnosed with water getting into a electrical connection, but no one would ever take responsibility, so it was traded in.

That's a shame, this one has been pretty good to me generally, usual issues with bushings etc that all VAG cars of this era seem to suffer with, but mechanically it's generally been pretty trustworthy

New goodies turned up... My AP's have been really good to me but the dampers are rather tired after 8/9years and the rear springs are looking pretty corroded. Been pretty happy with them in all honesty, so thought I'd replace like for like. New Febi top mounts and bearings will be going on when these get swapped over.
