Mini Cooper S - Pre-Sale Enhancement - detailR - Milton Keynes, Buckinghmashire

This super cool little Mini came in to be tidied up before going up for sale.

The process took the car through...
  • Full safe wash and decontamination
  • Engine bay tidied up and dressed
  • Enhancement Detail - single stage machine polish
  • Interior freshen up
  • Glass cleaned, polished and sealed

Onto the car.

After some track days on seriously aggressive brakes, the wheels were a bit worse for wear... way beyond cleaning this time

Wheels, tyres and arches cleaned up first.

But the front two were a bit of a lost cause.

Next, the engine bay was given a clean with AF Verso and a selection of brushes.

Then onto the safe wash process. Auto Finesse products used throughout.

A lot of embedded brake dust on the body work.

After being washed, decontaminated and loosely dried, it was time to be taken inside for the clay bar treatment.

Masked up and ready to go.

Straight onto some before and after shots during the machine polishing work.

You can see the difference between the hazy middle section and the polished edges.

The original wheels will be going on before the car is up for sale. It's a shame they didn't go on before it came into me really.

Thanks for reading

Richard.

That looks great, almost exactly the same as my car. Gives me a few hints on how to tackle my first machine polish which is coming up over the weekend. Can I asked what you used on the plastic A and C pillars?

That looks fantastic.

What did you use to sort out the badge from the side wing?

Yep, sure is
The EK is a full track ready ripper. So many trick parts on it. I've been using it as a daily until my Focus is put back together. The Cusco diff is interesting around town
