Snow foam query

I'm new to the whole snow foam thing and after buying the various bits, I have to say I'm very impressed with the stuff.

However, I have noticed that the overspray foam on my gravel driveway takes about 24 hours to dissolve! It seems to nearly crystalise into what looks like fluffy sugar type stuff before it eventually fades away. I washed the car yesterday at about 2pm and when I came out to go to work this morning, the white was still very evident on the drive.

Am I making the mixture too strong or is this just what happens?

Snow Foam

I regularly use Ultimate Snow Foam (Ultimate Finish), Honeydew Snow Foam (Chemical Guys) or Car Jet Wash & Wax (Power Maxed) and the suds usually hang around for an hour or two - that must be some mix that you are using for it stay for 24 hrs!

Some foams do last a long time and this is somewhat down to many people mistaking snowfoam for nothing more than a toy! The foam which lasts forever might be fun for some but the truth is that it is actually decreasing the effectiveness, increasing the cost and increasing the hazard to the environment. In practice, the best performance for first stage washing is from moderate foam products... but try telling that to people...
