Glueing pad backing velcro back on

Hi all, hope this is in the right section...

I'm fairly new, to using machine polishing pads and made the mistake of machine washing them too hot which has caused some of the backing material to come away from the pad. I considered carefully spray glueing it back as it's only around the edges where it's come and away as they're pretty much brand new hex logic pads.

Has anyone done this or has anyone any reason to not do this?

Thanks

You could use some glue but with the heat that is produced when polishing this could happen again, so best to throw them away and buy again and learn from your mistakes, that's what I would do, the last thing you want is the pad to disintegrate when your polishing.
