Bought some of the above last week to try and speed up my valeting process, opposed to using the normal AG glass cleaner.
Have to say I found it absolutely awful.
One customers car I do every 2 weeks, non smoker so nothing really to stick to the Windows outside, and always polished.
Used the fast glass and it was absolutely useless, literally stuck to the glass, wouldn't buff off, and just didn't clean the Windows properly inside or out.
Can anyone recommend a glass cleaner that is quicker than the two I have mentioned above?
Chris
I use fast glass as my go to light-normal duty glass cleaner, never had any problems with it sticking to glass. What you have described doesn't sound normal for fast glass, I would say that either you have an iffy batch or it isn't fast glass. Did you buy it from a reputable supplier?
I bought it from Halfrauds so assume it's the proper gear.
Took twice as long and had to keep going back over and over to buff it off.
Even tried it on my house windows, and was just an absolute pain to buff off!!
What do you guys use to buff it.
I'm using normal microfibre cloths, but just doesn't seem to buff away, and dries with white stains like you'd get if you missed a bit with glass polish.
I've used Fast Glass for years and find it really easy to use, so not sure why you are getting problems. I use a micro-fibre when applying/cleaning and some paper towel to buff clean. It always leaves a squeaky clean finish with no bother.
Contact Mark from Autoglym Online and explain what is happening and i am sure he will want it back for testing. They do keep a record of each batch of product made, so can test it to see if there is a defect
I thought fast glass was the danglies until I tried crystal.
It is still imho an exemplary product so there must be an issue that needs resolving.
Keep us posted on the outcome.
I too have used this for years and never had a problem with it.
I use the specific glass MF's...'peach skin' are they called?
