To be honest I'm not sure where the spares come from as I have very little to do with her she's all tucked away now and unsure when it will be out next

Things been quiet on the home front but mot time last week. Unsurprisingly she failed. 2 brake pipes and a drop link. All work completed last night and this morning she decided she didn't want fuel anymore... All fun and games here!!!

Tank repaired and pressure tested... great! let's get this show on the road...

Sadly not, hubby went to clean the underside up so seal it and flaking bits of crud soon showed up what a waste of money getting it repaired was. although it was ok initially, flaking to clean up showed a total pepper pot of holes. o a very sad day and I'm in a really grotty mood now :'(
decided to get a euro pattern special, and to be able to afford the damn thing gone with credit.. something I never ever wanted to do, but we need to get the car back to life before the weekend so bitten the bullet. just going to have to work a few extra shifts to clear it quickly. I hope to God Dad appreciates this!

Oh that's a blow to your plans. I hope the pattern part behaves itself for you.

After no end of messing with the part supplier the tank has landed!! Had a good look at the repaired parts on the old one and the lad has done such a nice job of it. Shame the tank is knackered

Well we managed it. Car has passed it's mot with flying colours. Almost 21 years old and not a single advisory!
Fueled up and about ready to make the trip up north to family.
Where do we go next? Back to preservation. Service then onto fixing the rusty bits, more new parts to buy... but for now empty pockets and a full fuel tank.
Not washed in over a month and not apologising hahaha
