I have a engine crane you could borrow if you are close to Norwich.

Great thread and work on the Clio....absolute and utter pond life that ruined it while stranded, I bet you felt like finding them and removing parts from them??

Gutted to read about your 182 David.

Properly made my heart sink for you mate.

Nice to see you have it sorted, and you didn't do too bad to be able to buy it back off the insurance for a few quid..

Wow - I think I'd have junked Clios for good!! A mate had a similar thing happen after he was involved in a shunt coming up to see me in Nottingham. Not too much damage to his car but the radiator was leaking so he couldn't drive it. He tried to get it towed but was told he's have to wait until the following day so we pushed it off the main road and left it. Came back the next day to find it gone. The insurers stung him for two claims - the initial accident and the theft!
