That is one incredible car, it looks like new! Very jealous

Do you plan to keep it for good or sell on?

Had some issues uploading pictures, hope this post works.
This is the car on the day I collected it, first time out of the Garage since Sept 2017.

The car drove more or less faultless, needs some ever minor TLC, nothing un-expected.

MOT on Thursday and hopefully some time soon to do a mini detail and I will take more Pictures then.

Thanks for all the positive comments, I have no intention to sell anytime soon, I plan on keeping it as it is... although the stickers are showing signs of age related shrinking/cracking in areas, however I will try and save them.

stunning!

I had a phase 1 on a C plate about 20 years ago, it was a dog when I bought it but I restored to a decent standard and promptly sold it to a lad up the road who wrote it off in a week of owning it - he was not prepared for how quick it was, it was mildly tuned.

Following this thread with envious eyes!

Just a minor update, but an important one, It went to the local Renault Dealership as I know the Parts & Service guys very well, they have a mature MOT tester who tests with common sense and respect.

Sadly it failed, but just on wipers, a few pennies later and the car has a full MOT and new wipers

Had some spare time this morning, I don’t get a lot of time to myself atm, what with work, childcare, building furniture etc.....but the I have been eager to clean the 5, quick polish and wax...

Started off with a heavily leaking jet wash...

Ready for some snow foam and brushed down..

Jet washed the snow foam, the set about cleaning the wheels - forgot to photo this stage, but they weren’t to bad.

Then I clean the car down and rinsed, dried, then I hit the body work and wheels with bilt hamber korrosol- overall it showed the paint hadnt been carrying to much contamination .

So quick wash and clay mitt again followed by washing & drying (forgot to photo but nothing major to report.

Then I got the trusty DA polisher out, only with a black pad as it was only going to be a quick fly over, I masked the up the car and set to work. You can really notice the flek in the paint work, but very hard to photo and as time was limited I didn’t take many photos, this was followed up with a layer of collinete 456 wax.

The end result

The rolled bag, put bag on tickle charge and wrapped up, have some more minor stuff to do before any shows, but its good enough for this year

Thank you for reading, apologies about the picture heavy post.
