Lovely jubbly, nice work, interior looks loads better, who comes up with these colour combinations, really practical in an everyday car.

Yeah the cream carpet was filthy, even some of the centre console plastics in the hard to reach areas.

Not ideal.

Such an awesome project. I miss my MK4 Golf it just continually leaked oil into the spark chambers and drank oil more than I drank water despite fixing numerous parts on it. But this has made me want one gain! Why the hell did I spend £5000 on a Corsa.....

My oil has not ended up in to my soark chanbers yet so I don't want to fix it if it's not broken. My oil consumption isn't as bad as expected either.

£5000 for a corsa is a fair amount but as long you enjoy it!

Thanks! The car is around the halfway mark past 93k, mileage shouldnt jump up as much through the summer as I am going to be riding my bike in unless I need to do anything on the car at work.

Are these known for using oil? The BJX 20VT block in my Ibiza doesn't use a drop, it has a slight weep from where a crappy ECS magnetic sump plug messed the thread slightly, but other than a little working past that, it's not used any, it's on 83k.

Nothing out of the ordinary for me, regular oil changes and top ups will keep on top of that any how.

Yeah I plan on doing oil every 4/5k and using quantum from TPS directly and genuine filters.

My clutch was changed by previous owner but the dual mass wasnt. I'm not too happy with the feel when pulling away it feels slack and when being in traffic for a while it can be a bit difficult for a smooth pull away. So thats a job on my list.

I have heard of some cars burning oil, but I'm sure thats more of the car having an issue rather that just general burning of the oil.
