Using Meguiar's plus Poorboys at the moment great stuff, flexibility dilutable easy on the surface, have a shampoo/water ratio for those delicate needs.

ASDA smart price APC 25p per liter.

I use it for general cleaning, engine bay, arches, cleaning brushes and buckets, uncoated wheels, undercarriage, uncoated plastics and rubber trims

ive used things like surfex but its over kill in most applications and the Smart price apc does a good job, ive even used it on fabrics at 1:20 dilution with great success.

Obviously if your a pro and are detailing dirty uncleaned engine bays daily then its not for you but if your maintaining your own then its absolutely fine (and cheap)

For coated interior plastics I use VP citrus at 10:1 and 5:1 for exterior trim and body lines when foam is dwelling

Surfex for me. Dilutes as strong or as weak as you need. Can be used for loads of things, even the wife now uses it around the home in the kitchen and bathrooms etc.

Surfex HD, I bought 5 litres of it about 8 years ago, still have a drop left and the amount of uses it has are endless. I use it at 5% dilution for normal dirt and 10% for heavy soiling, never needed more than 20% dilution to clean anything which is why it lasts so long !
