Toyota Avensis T27 Tourer Project

Picked up my replacement drivers mat from Toyota today - replaced under warranty.

Also picked up the behind bumper vents to hopefully solve on part of the leaking boot - and have ordered Sikaflex for bonding parts and also Permatex flowable for sealing any cracks in the paint etc.

Will take a bit of work but be worth it.

Why is it though, when a dealer says they’ll phone you when parts are in, they repeatedly never do! Also tried to charge me for the mat - which was sorted.

Sorry folks - be a gap in progress for a bit as managed to fall, bang my back etc at work last night. Visit to A&E - broken ribs and muscle damage!

The A&E Doctor did laugh and said “absolutely no chance” when I mentioned the 3 running events in the next 3 weeks including Yorkshire Marathon...

Have you kept hold of the other mat? If so I would cut a panel to make a heel pad
