Hydrophobic Sealant

Thinking of giving H2Go a go. I have a full bottle of Fast Glass to use, and by many accounts, it's pretty decent, so I have no desire to buy a glass cleaner.

Would a good interior and exterior clean with Fast Glass, followed by an exterior application or two of H2GO yield good results?

Thanks!

You can use fast glass fine, I can't remember for the l life of me if there is any hydrophobic properties in fast glass. If there is then you'd be better getting a cleaner that doesn't leave anything behind.

Worst case is that it may cut down the life of H2GO a bit.

Never thought about that, I think I was just considering Fast Glass as a cleaner. I'll check.

I'm about out if IPA so I'll order some of that. Might be worth doing Fast Glass, IPA, then finally H2GO?

Fast Glass has no hydrophobic properties.

Thanks all. Forensic detailing on YouTube seems to like this stuff:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...da9800c49a99e5

£11 for 500ml, and is an all in one cleaner and sealant. Worth a go?

£15 for 500ml is not a good deal for glass cleaner imo

Ah yeah, didn't spot the postage. So used to having prime.

The AW H2GO is ~£16 for 250ml, and that's only the sealant.

You wont need 250ml, better getting the 100ml for £6. It takes me ages to get through 100ml, keep in mind that its only the glass you're coating

Garage
Sonax Polymer Netshield is one of the most hydrophobic sealants I ever saw, as well as cheap, longlasting and easy to apply.

Have used H2go for the last few months. I top it up roughly every months and the water repellency is unreal. Best I ever achieved.
