Rubbish Car Air Fresheners

That's it. I'm beat as I'm still to find a decent car air freshener that actually lasts. The California scents ones used to be OK, but recently even those don't seem very good (I even bought one in Halfords as the ebay ones are, I'm sure, fakes). I had high hopes too for the AG hyperfresh ones - while they smell really nice, again they just don't last at all. The worst by far though is CG stripper scent, smells great but lasts about 5 minutes. I might even go back to the trees or feu orange.

I'm also considering one of these things and using some sort of essential oil to top it up. Anybody used these at all and what do you think.

Get yourself a California Scents tin. Coronado Cherry is my personal favourite! It lasts months!

Fresh air lasts, and is best.

The only synthetic I can stand in my cars is the Gliptone leather cards. The rest all make car smell like a Saturday night mini cab.

Thanks but no. These used to be good. No longer last for me as I said in my OP.

I’ve tried every airfreshener I think lol. The essential oil ones are good they last a long time but once they have gone I found they never worked properly again when topped back up. To be honest the strongest and longest lasting ones are the hanging tree’s and any other free hanging ones that are out there. a company called Nia fragrances have the best smelling scents I’ve ever tried and they last a ridiculous amount of time.

What about mitchell and king? They have a spray bottle and you could spray cards and place them around the car?

Not the cheapest, but the choice of smells is insane and there are no gels or crappy stuff. Like an aftershave for your car.

I have a jelly belly liquid clip on air vent air freshener and it’s amazing. Lasting well and isn’t strong smelling - it’s just enough.
